Enough its been posted and reposted and each article quoted says something a little different.
More detailed than I have read before. Boeing sure saved a bunch by outsourcing their manufacturing didn't they. Gonna save money no matter what it costs.
The problem isn't with Boeing's outsourcing strategy, it is in their failure to properly execute Supply Chain Management best practice. The full NTSB report can be read at www.ntsb.gov/doclib/reports/2014/AIR1401.pdf
