Some things have changed in the nearly 20 years since this incident. Event recording for one, as presented by the digital cameras used in the event last year departing Stanley ID on a hot afternoon:

Some things have not changed; stupidity, for example.
The event also pre-dated the Darwin awards. Just as well, this event was too mundane for consideration.
Fly safely, land in a way that the AC can take off again.
