I remember when the placed this order. I feel old :/
it's hawaii, there was a comment from a big wig about flying over lots of open water (without going international) and besides, airtran already goes to san juan
ETOPS configuration...Hawaii or Puerto Rico run? Announced as increased capacity for heavily utilized routes, but most of them don't require the extra duplication.
