Boeing seeks quick legal fix to stop Bombardier

Boeing is not getting the message or if they are they are ignoring it. This is no longer Boeing vs. Bombardier, but Boeing vs the Canadian government. Unlike taking on another company like Airbus, the Canadian government has a whole host of actions it can take to hurt Boeing.

The suspension of the F/A 18 plan should be read as merely a warning to the company which they do not seem to be hearing. Many of the critical parts for all five Boeing lines are manufactured north of the border and interruption of their supply would slow or shut down production. Similar duties on Boeing sales would convert Air Canada and WestJet into Airbus airlines (as Delta is becoming).Boeing can be cut out of bidding on drone and helicopter replacements for the Canadian military.

I would not want to be the Boeing salesman trying to sell to Delta which needs over 200 single aisle replacements over the next few years.

You are absolutely right! I think Boeing just fired a round up it's butt with close to 38 million potential passengers who just might look for another ride as my fellow countrymen has clearly explained above. BRAVO canuck44.
