Incident: JAL B787 near Tokyo on Jan 29th 2016, engine shut down in flight

Engine reliability had been awfully good but latest spate of issues (GE, PW, another one can't remember) .. maybe pushing the envelope? From a firsthand pax report of "shaking" and "flames" (compressor stall?) indicate major malf. Have to wait for more details.
