British Woman, WW2 Pilot, Dies at 103

Wow, talk about unsung heroes! Like Rosie The Riveter, they were the life's blood of the war effort. RIP!

Just watched "Spitfire" documentary on Netflix a few days ago which mentioned about the "ATA" team during the War. Nothing but respect for them! From this story, I followed the link for another "ATA Girl", Mary Ellis, who was featured in that film, and learned she has passed away around 2018 at a "ripe" age of 101!!! Their longevity must have something to do with flying! RIP!
