What a pilot sees landing at one of the world's most dangerous airports
Paro Airport in Bhutan is located in a deep valley near the Paro Chhu river. The airport is about a mile and a half above sea level, and is difficult — and dangerous — to land at because of the 18,000-foot peaks surrounding it. (mashable.com) さらに...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
Reckon we could talk an Asiana Captain in there. Almost makes Aspen look elemental.
VQPR (Paro) and VNLK (Lukla - Tenzig/Hilary) make Aspen look like you're landing at Kansas City.
Nice video & very impressive!
The operative word: "experience"
I would look to attempt that Approach. That approach makes the DCA River visual child's play
That and Lukla make Aspen and Jackson Hole look routine
