What's wrong with having it above ground.........does he really think anyone would pay to see this project?? Sounds like a guy that buried a bunch of Cadillacs way back when. Already forgotten. A few Artists are a bit dumb. Has a lot of time on their hands or Brains??

Well, so far it all seems to be on him. The only government entity mentioned is the local planning comission granting a conditional use for the land. It was purchased by a private company so??????????????????????????????????

He's burying a 727 that's been decommissioned, so I presume it has been sitting in the Boneyard for a while and already stripped of essential parts and avionics. I can think of much better things to do with an old 727, like turn it into a small house.

You guys are not missing anything...you are not lemmings and your brain still functions independently of the crowd. The crap that gets passed off as "art" is actually pretty hilarious...not because of any intrinsic value but primarily to watch the "snooty elite" fawn over pure trash ascribing self serving motives to the artist who is likely equally clueless.

My only problem with it all is when the same snooty elite demand the taxpayer (that is us) pay for this garbage.

While visiting my wife, when she was my girlfriend, at her college once, I was stopped in my tracks and uttered the words "What the Fu...." to which my wife responded: "yeah, it's supposed to be art...stupid huh?" Somebody legit, threw a bunch of those plastic lei's you get at the dollar store into a tree...there had to be 200 of them.
