Two US Marine jets have collided off the coast of Japan during refuelling – search and rescue underway

The incident involved an F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet made by McDonnell Douglass, and a KC-130, a refuelling plane with propellers made by Lockheed Martin. Too many close calls caught on video show how dangerous air to air refueling can be. It never ends well.
C130's don't fly fast enuf and F18's don't fly slow enuf to be refueled in daytime, let alone 0200hrs! C130's are fine to do helos, just not jets.
