Boeing Board of Directors Allows Sale of 777X

Boeing Co.'s (BA) board of directors gave approval to its commercial airplanes unit to start selling a new version of its long-range 777 jetliner, according to a person familiar with the decision. The decision came earlier this week at a board meeting in Chicago that coincided with Boeing's annual shareholder meeting, the person said.
