Am I the only one who believes military needs should be supplied from inhouse manufacturers?

Even if assembled in the USA foreign suppliers could be cut off should a conflict errupt with Sweeden ;).

I'm not sure it makes a lot of difference. If it is anything like commercial airplanes the parts are made around the world.
