JetBlue to Link Fort Lauderdale with Jacksonville
JetBlue Airways announced it will launch new non-stop service between Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville, Florida, on October 29. The service will operate twice daily, using Embraer 190 aircraft. (www.frequentbusinesstraveler.com) さらに...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
Why have all of these comments been ejected?
I look forward to this service. Florida Express Jet was going to operate this route until their investors backed out at the last minute. The drive on I-95 from Jax to FLL can be loaded with traffic and this is a smart, easy way to travel between the two Florida cities.
I doubt this is a move to pick up traffic terminating at the opposite city, but an effort to develop and feed the Jet Blue hub in FLL which gives service to the west and now internationally to the Caribbean and South America.
That will be nice. Maybe drive down fares as well since they'll be in direct competition with SWA on that route and with AA to a lesser degree (MIA->JAX).
Southwest is ending the route at the time jetblue will start it
