N80217 i registered to a Grob glider. Why can't you people recognize a USAF serial number for what it is?????

Flight Aware changes it to an N number. I put it in as 80-217.

Jack, FA's program looks for 6 numerals. Adds the "N" if it only sees five. Try reentering it as 800217. No dash mark; just the six numerals. Not sure if it will accept the change but it can't hurt to try. BTW .... Ultra-awesome click. *****+++

So, following up on what Gary said, the actual SN for this a/c is 80-0217. If you just enter those six digits FA should recognize it as a military SN. It should enter a "-" automatically. If not, you can try entering it manually. Anyway, good luck and keep up the good work!
