'Olive 56' from the 38th RS (Reconnaissance Squadron) of the 55th Wing assigned to Air Combat Command. Based at Offutt AFB, Omaha, Nebraska. Arriving from RAF Mildenhall for a fuel stop before heading home.

63-9792 started out life as an RC-135B, later to be modified by Martin to RC-135C.
Modified again to RC-135U "Combat Sent 3" signal collection and analysis Apr 1970 to 1987+
Converted once again to RC-135V "Rivet Joint" electronic intelligence aircraft
