The above aircraft is a Fairchild 24 (24W-46), FAA reg. N81201 (displaying NC81201), manufactured in 1946, s/n W46102, powered by a 165 h.p. Warner Super Scarab radial engine.
That NC8120 registration is inactive in the FAA registry. The actual last digit of the registration number isn't showing in the photo above, being masked from view by the horizontal stabilizer and elevator.
