Thank you Eleanor Roosevelt... Best I can tell from the history books, the Tuskegee 332nd escorted 9 of the B-17 missions that my uncle flew out of southern Italy in Jun-JUL 1944.. A nice tribute to see it today.
Met the children and grandchildren of the Tuskegee Airmen at the 2018 RAR -- they are keeping the dream alive :-)
THis aircraft is famous… And the SQRN has a very touching story… thks to all of them..
