Lockheed C-141 Starlifter — - This C-141A is landing at Yokota Air Base near Tokyo, Japan. This was one of the primary stopping places for aircraft going and coming from Viet Nam. Photo taken in 1973. In 1973 I personally counted airplanes like this departing or landing every 12 minutes at the height of the war. The receipt and dispatch of these aircraft was handled by the 610 MASS (Military Airlift Support Squadron) for the Military Airlift Command.

Tom, every one of these 5-star pics is a trip back thru memory lane for me, and I'm certain there will be many others who will also bounce backward in time when they view these great clicks. Absolutely superb snaps! TYVVM for sharing them.
