Airbus A340-600 (D-AIHN) - A warm evenings reverie and soft breeze are shattered by the dramatic, powerful departure of this Airbus from runway 36C in Charlotte, North Carolina USA for Munich, Germany (EDDM). The nose and main landing gear doors have just sequenced open for gear retraction. Safely above the ground with good airspeed, the aircraft will be "cleaned up" (flaps, slats and landing gear retracted) as it climbs to cruising altitude.
