While waiting for the arrival of Cathay Pacific’s B777, this taxied out for take-off and is standing at Bravo 2 holding point for runway 23. Hadn't been able to get these shots before - invested in a new ladder!

Not only is this an outstanding catch of the aircraft, it is also an exceptionally artistic shot. Check out the variety of "lines" in it. The vertical lines of the window frames, the "X"s on the jet bridge, horizontal "lines" on those small portable stairs and the taxiway sign, etc., etc. An artist would rate this a "Five Plus" if this was a painting. And the light is PERFECT! This is a wonderful photo, Gavin. (A bow to you, my friend).

Thank you for compliments Gary. One day that aerobridge will have something against it!
