BOEING 777-200LR (A6-EWD)

It was 2109 hrs and this was the last photo in a several hours long photo session and ordinarily a shot I wouldn’t bother posting because of the noise. I had to use a high ISO - our external terminal lights don’t light up the apron like daylight - and they are distinctly yellow.

The only photo option, this was taken from inside the terminal and to prevent the interior lights reflecting off the windows and ruining the shot I got down below the window ledge and hard up against a window pillar then covered the camera and my head with a shopping bag…and it got very sweaty breathing into a low corner and being covered. The things we do just to get a shot!

Yes, there are rubber lens hoods that can help, but they’re not deep enough to give enough lateral movement for this shot - it was probably around 30 degrees to the window glass. International arrivals/departures are in a part of the terminal that gets closed off so there’s no possibility of getting closer or more head on.

Little did you know...........but this photo is well done and the photog descriptions add 5x more starts but NO OSCAR! LOL
