Mark, this wasn't a normal arrival. AAL discontinued daily B757 service here around the same time as by you. Unfortunately for us, there is even worse news from just two days ago. Two days back, AAL stopped using 737 equipment and went back to using the old MDs on its dailys to DFW and to ORD. That means there is no possibility of the Air Cal, Reno Air, or TWA special paints visiting here. They have each been here once, at night, and I caught them then. Makes me glad I rousted my butt out of the house in the wee hours of the AM in order to click them, but I'd been hoping to snap them in daylight. Now I'll have to wait 'til summer (when it gets real hot here in the summer months, AA is forced to use 737s because the Dogs can't get enough lift in the hot, thin air).
Even MORE bad news ... UA has discontinued using B739s here as of two days ago. They went back to using A320s. So, no chance of catching the Continental heritage scheme here now, either.
