Boeing 737-700 (N727SW)
"Nevada One" (N727SW) was the second of Southwest's special livery fleetbirds to pay a visit to Reno Tahoe International on the same day. When I captured this one about two and a half hours after "Illinois One" (N918WN) departed (see the previous picture I just posted into the gallery), I had no idea that there would be even more SW special paintbirds stopping in at RNO in the next hours. And, on the same day, over at the next concourse, QX (Horizon Airlines) was also putting on a show as several of their college-livery schemebirds paid visits. It was a extremely "color-filled" day at RTIA.

Nice shot Gary you sure got lucky there!
BTW where is Southwest based?
Dallas, Texas, the Lone Star State. And I just learned from Scot W (another FA photog down in Phoenix) that Southwest's "Lone Star One" special livery is being repainted on to a newer fleetbird. It used to be on a B733 but that one is going off to the graveyard and if it hasn't already done so, the newly painted LS1 should be making its reappearance any day now. Keep a watchful eye on Scot's posts; he's an outstanding photog and I'm betting he will be one of the very first to get a capture of the new Lone Star One when it takes to the skies.
Thanx Gary. Looking forward to it.
-- Nevada - cool , beautiful photo my friend !
That's a pretty bird! Nice job, Gary!
