The troll strikes again - I have had several "1's" also on photo's I truely believe are worth more. At least they could comment on what they think is wrong with the photo.

Joao and SHawk, don't let one (or perhaps two) infantile people get under your skin. Low "ratings" from a person who is so much an "expert" at aviation photography that (s)he is afraid to reveal her/his identity aren't worth even discussing: the person probably doesn't know which part of a camera is the lens. (lol) There are a few guys who sometimes post poor / one star ratings (Guido W and jim g are two I recall right now, but there is another whose name I can't immediately remember), and whenever one of them awards a low rating I pay attention because they both have the courage to put a name with their ratings. They say in their comments what they are thinking and I respect them for that, so I take their ratings seriously. However, the "One Star Troll" you are both referring to in your comments here, the person who hides his/her one-star judgments behind the safety of anonymity, is so lacking in photographic knowledge or talent that there isn't anything of photographic value any of us could learn from him/her. Can't learn anything from an anonymous coward except how to hide ... and an ability like that takes no brains, just an overabundance of fear.
Great shots, both of you. Please keep sharing with us. (And oh, BTW; the folks at FA long; long ago figured out that the "ratings" system is easily open to abuse, but there aren't very many out there who realize that FA's system is a three-aspect system in which the viewer's scores are the least important aspect. And the person who is obviously the least aware is the "One Star Troll" (I told you the person is a dummy) because every time he/she votes, it is a "plus" for the pic. Many thanks to both! I know I shouldn't worry with 'trolls', but at my age I am getting less and less patience... I left other web sites because of these people. But I'll follow your wise advises!
