clearly something is amiss here; F100 is North American, not Forker. USAF did NOT deploy Forker aircraft.
Are you suggesting that Mr. Collinsworth is a dumb Fokker? Clearly,the USAAF never deployed Fokker aircraft, but they sure as hell shot a lot of those Fokker's out of the sky in WW11!
F-84 there.
At first I thought this wasn't the F-84 as some documentation shows a straight wing and not a sweptback, but searching about I found some pics of BOTH and that is confusing.
