Logistics to get this aircraft from the US to Spain must have been interesting.
Indeed. I noticed that myself and had that same thought. While doable, that's a LOT of flying to go from the western US to Spain.
Are they using this on fires? It looks red on the aft fuse, rudder and tailwheel.
That is correct, Tim. When this aircraft was at GIC, they were using it and three other AT-802s in the firefighting role at the time.
@21 voyager : some pilots have the skill to ferry lot of lifgt acft throught the Atlantic ocean everyweek. OUr Cessna SP had been ferry from Pensylvania to our club in Alsace via Denmark...(for info)
