I read recently where Boeing has a parking lot full of the 747 frames that are not sold. The story stated they were running out of spaces to park them.
I'm not quite sure on the frames being unsold, lately the lot has been clearing out with Cathay Pacific, ABC and soon to be delivered Korean Air Cargo. Hopefully there'll be enough orders over the next few years to keep the 748 production line going.
