North American Navion — - Prep for flight, No real idea what their plans were. Any bird honoring the military catches my eye. Believe this to be an older restored training aircraft. "N" number unavailable .. Tail showing # 33393

It is N6CL, based on this photo and 53-3398 being the Mil reg.

Tom... me thinks you have a "typo" there... :-)

This one is USAF s/n 53-3393... (it should end in "3" rather than ending in "8").

Was c/n G.154 on the Beech manufacturing line according to Mr. Joe Baugher's information... where he adds this... "to civil registry N6CL" for 53-3393. G.154 is also used for the FAA registry s/n of record on this one. It was originally constructed as a Beech T-34A Mentor for the Air Force.

USAF s/n 53-3398 was a Lockheed RC-121D... for which Mr. Baugher adds, "cnverted (sic) to EC-121T. To MASDC Sep 10, 1970".
