I had to travel to St Maarten for my job at least 8-9 times a year over a 10 year period. Set at the Sunset Bar drinking beer many a time watching incoming and departing flights. Two things you could count on; KLM arrival was always on time and Air Francs was always 1 to 2 hours late. Most activity was in mid to late afternoon. Besides flights from Europe there was Delta, US Air and AA. Local included LIAT (D-8), American Eagle (ATR), Caribbean Star (D-8) and several smaller airlines flying D-6's and Islanders. Been about eight years since I was there. New Airport. Would like to see it. My son is a Captain at US AIR so I could Non-Rev down for very little money.

Christopher Clark is not close. the reason your seeing it like that is because 1 the position were the person that is taking the photo is standing. 2 if u do look really good at the photo the air plane is long gone pass the fence. and that's what making it look very low!!!
