Dean, this is a Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force P-3 Orion, built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries under license of Lockheed Martin. The red sun on the fuselage identifies the country. The reg number mystifies me because the only reg numbers I've ever seen on JMSDF Orions were all 5xxx series numbers (5031, 5032, etc.). Perhaps this is one that is headed for Malaysia. I remember reading (maybe 2-3 years ago) that the JMSDF was retiring their Orions and that the Royal Malaysian Air Force had asked Japan if they (the Malaysians) could buy 3 or 4 of them. I never heard what became of that request.
Anyway, the only reg numbers that have "N" in front are US civil aviation aircraft. The US military a/c do not start with an "N" and no foreign countries have "N" in front of the numerals (such as N2345Y or etc.). So when you entered just the four numerals, the FA program auto-filled the "N" in front of those numbers and then the program went thru its reg records, found N9132, and auto-entered BE58. Here is what you need to do.
Log in. Go down to the reg box. Delete the reg number and DO NOT enter anything in it. When you delete the reg numbers from the reg box, the BE58 will auto-erase. Then you go to that box and enter "P3." Leave the reg number box empty. You can't enter just four numerals in it because then the program enters an "N" and then auto-fills BE58. So just leave the reg box empty.
The FA program is designed to accommodate US civil reg numbers and US military reg numbers. It will also accommodate civil reg numbers of other countries. However, military air forces of foreign countries all use their own registration number systems and when FA's program sees something that it does not "recognize" as a reg number, it tries to "fit" the reg into a category that it is programmed to accommodate. Thus, when you put just the four numerals in, the FA program decides that you didn't enter the "N" so it does. You aren't wrong about the reg on that Orion. It IS "9132." But you can't enter it because FA's program will alter it to "fit' what it recognizes.
PS - While you are refilling the P3 into the box, enter the airport code in the airport code box too. We all like to know where the pics were taken.
(Hope this helps. Thumbs Up, my friend.)

GREAT comment @Gary -- be really nice if FA could make that some form of Sticky for general info on usage.
