Canada's Bombardier expects sales of its Q400 turboprop this year will be "similar or even better" than the 41 firm orders it received last year, its commercial sales head said on Tuesday. (www.business-standard.com) さらに...
Four months ago we were getting reports that Bombardier was looking to sell the Q400 production and the CRJ lines. Now it appears they are getting more orders and are looking to move some production of wings etc offshore to improve margins. There was also the suggestion they would have to move out of Downsview.
I guess the question is are they improving the margins to enhance the sale value of the entire product line or do they plan to keep production within Bombardier at Downsview or another site.
