Hangar Del Cielo, who is the leader of an Argentinian aerobatic team, skillfully completed the dangerous stunt while in Valparaiso, Chile in November. 

A 30-second clip shows him laughing gleefully as he carries out the amazing manoeuvre, which is known as an inverted low pass.

It starts with Mr Del Cielo flying the aircraft, which has 50-metre long blue ribbons attached to its wings, over a runway. 

He then pulls it close to the ground ready to turn it upside down. 

The brave pilot amazingly manages to keep the aircraft upside down for 10 seconds before reverting back to normal. 

The clip ends as the aircraft resumes normal flight high in the air above the runway.

Mr Del Cielo, who describes himself as a 'sportsperson', wrote on Facebook about the stunt team: '[Our] shows [are] designed to flatter not only the sense of sight but the ear. 

'Low noise aircraft, flying in the air and drawing choreography.' 

A recent video shows the stunt team performing loops with the wings of their aircraft within metres of each other.
