Boeing got greedy, wanted to milk the old turd beyond it's physical and econonical life, too much lipstick! The Max and it's problems are payback. Before anyone who reads this gets mad, I fly 3 varieties of the 737 now, it is / has been a gret aircraft, but it is time for a younger more modern design. I also understand what it cost to develope new, look at Bombardier, the "C" series killed a really big diverse company and forced it's sale to Airbus who is smart or lucky to have it depending on your view, it is a really capable aircraft.

Mr Roy Thomas, you are so correct, I fly Boeings for a living and I love the product, but Boeing's QC has gotten horrible, why is it that the Air Force, American Airlines and others take delivery of brand new aircraft and take them home and tear them apart to clean out the assembly trash and tooling left in the airframes, this is a hazard and shows not only the labor doesn't give a crap, but the inspectors don't either. It will be interesting to see how long this Max debacle will continue, I could see Boeing (if they survive)going the way of Lockheed, to military and space only. Sorry folks, not trying to create hate here, just being honest.

I have been in this aircraft, it still feels very much like an RJ. This is a good replacement for the A-318 and MD-95 / B-717 though.

Same story, different ailine. Go bankrupt, change livery, logo and all employee uniforms! I guess a new image will fix all the operational and financial problems mis-management created.
