I agree with all the comments esp the ones about Sierra. What bothers me, alot, is who maintains a training aircraft this poorly. New PIC should not have aircraft assigned to them that obviously are marginally maintained. Just grab the rental fee. I'd like to know the cause of the engine failure. If it is sloppy maintenance, their ticket should be pulled!
Fired over a can of pop! I will no longer fly United. BTW siriusloon the other can you referred to was a can of beer that he paid dearly for. I think he can expect to get an unopened can. It probably would have been better had the attendant just used an unopened can of soda, the whole thing would have never happened then. However, I am getting sick of people playing the race card when they perceive that they have been denied something. Even if we were all treated equally without bias as human beings somebody would find something to complain about in hopes of getting something for free.
The tail leaving the ground first is true of all tail draggers Mike. In order to get the wing into an acceptable angle of attack the "car" has to leave the ground this way. I just wish the wings would fold back into the tail more to increase visibility on the ground and give you a back seat. Perhaps next model.
Do a Google search on this particular layout. The airport is just a small part of an HO train layout that is absolutely amazing. The whole thing is in Hamburg Germany and takes up two to three floors of an old warehouse.kł
I wonder when it will sink in to these execs that American labor is worth every penny that they spend to use it. How many times has a Made In Someplace else failed in the first year and been thrown out by your household. Buy American!
