KALB - Million Air | This is my favorite FBO in the country. They treat you the same regardless if you are in a Cessna 152 or a G5. There facility is top notch and leaves a perfect impression on your guests. The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to help you. The crew car (a BMW 5 series) is fantastic. KCAK - McKinley Air | Worst FBO experience in my travels. I visit approximately 20 different airports each month, and unfortunately I have 2 horrible experiences here (my last experience now that I have found the Ultimate FBO there). On trip 1 I arrived after hours and waited 20 minutes for a line guy to show up (despite having called ahead). I was told there were no vending machines available and I would have to use the restroom in the fuel station. They guy didn't know how to operate the credit card machine, and took 15 minutes reading the manual before I finally got frustrated and did it for him. On the day trip, I was parked about 500 yards away because "they were waiting on another airplane which had parking priority". Oddly enough no other planes ever showed up. After I started my engines the line guy indicated I needed to come back inside because they had forgot to have me sign the credit card slip. If I were you, I would avoid this FBO and go across the airport to Ultimate. | 2010-Jan-04 09時25分 |

KARR - J.A. Air Center | This is a superb state of the art facility. Brand new and well thought out. They have a full canopy where you can park and avoid walking in the rain, their line guys are friendly and professional, and the counter staff is wonderful. You can't say enough about the amenities, from the bank of vending machines to the xBox consoles in the lounge. If you want to make an impression on your passengers, and you are going to Chicago, this is the place to park. They are located in a less congested part of the city, but yet easy access to the major areas of town via the interstates. Perfect location. | 2010-Jan-04 09時33分 |
