I agree with Phil Rudd - make them buy Airbus - let them make a profit. Dont sell them BOINGS to sit on the ground and look good!!!!. Geez, what an attitude.
Used to be IF IT AINT BOEING IT AINT GOING, now its IF ITS BOEING IT AINT GOING. In their rush to get a leg up on Airbus they delivered a faulty product which is sooo obvious, 2 years delay in production should tell you something. Dreamliner........has the potential to put a lot of pax to sleep all at once.
Hmmm they are taking lessons from Sir Richard. Just goes to show how happy your employees/partners are when you make money. Great Airline, hope they expand and put AC out of business once and for all.
I suggest, if you spend that kind of money and that much time on a SIMULATOR, you should consider the real thing. A 152/172 from mid 80's vintage will run about the same, AND, you can actually KILL yourself in them - they didnt come with a RESET button. Training schools, yes.....home use.......think it is overkill.
Who patent the aircraft, the single isle aircraft, two isle, side by side seating. Lets talk about the automobile. Hate to say it, if the US and their corporations that control government lackies allow this protectionist attitude to prevail, there will be some serious repercussions throughout the world in the near future.
Dont ya love it. All these BOING lovers say it is to be expected.....but not on the first trip out of the gate. SO, maybe now they will layoff the A380 for a week or two. Lets see what else comes up over the next month from an AC that was rushed into service after 3 years of delays.
Marcu Pradel, you are in left field with your comments. The Airbus line has a tremendous product with superior reliability. Think how old the 747 is, and they keep peddling it with new power, longer fuselage etc. Nothing wrong with the ship, just that they are asking for todays $$ for yesterdays product. The new Gen power is being asked to push a ship that is 40 years old.
Al Qaida has accomplished what it set out to do. America is afraid of its own shadow now - even chipmunks in the wood pile are suspect. These DHS/TSA are creating jobs for themselves by instilling fear in the citizens. Once look at the quality of personnel they are hiring will tell this is smoke and mirrors and self justification.
