"Airbus will start discussions with its social partners in the next few weeks regarding the 3,000 to 3,500 positions potentially impacted over the next three years. However, the ongoing A320 ramp-up and the new widebody order from Emirates Airline will offer a significant number of internal mobility opportunities."
So, everything depend on how much "too many people" and "significant number" are.
I did not understand if, at least, they reimbursed the flight ticket. Looks obvious to me they did, but the article doesn't mention this. Can someone confirm?
there are a lot of very interesting studies about typos and the difficulty to find them due to our amazing capabilities to interpret reality. Experts on that will write a paper just on this.
Those 400$ or so are worth more than a 2 mins ad in prime time on TV for AA. When will airline companies learn that the way they usually deal with these kind of situation is so stupid?

There have been a number of mishaps. The problem is that if one of the rocket doesn't ignite, you get highly differential thrust and the aircraft becomes really difficult to control.
