This is something that "could" happen but probably wont because the airlines have already received their corona cash. I fear that the industry is headed for bankruptcy and consolidations due to lack of demand that may never recover to the level it was.

What a sad joke that of course we understand but not the public. Lets not forget that ligation attorneys almost killed a once vibrant general aviation and they have no morality.

I notice some of our members can’t resist the urge to share their political views and make childish insults. Please consider using some other platform to express these non aviation related opinion’s.

Until we have a vaccine masks will be the rule. If someone doesn’t want to follow the rules, then they don’t get to play.

I don’t think self flying airplanes will be approved until manufacturers can demonstrate the aircraft can preform emergency and irregular procedures at least as good as a human without outside intervention. This means onboard artificial intelligence independently working without a ground based human operator dependent on satellite data link.

This situation has nothing to do with race or politics. It’s about 3 people who can’t control themselves and should not be allowed on a pressurized aluminum tube with others.

My flight aware picture was taken after parking for my last flight PVG/SFO in the 747 before UA sent them all to the dessert in October 2018. I am typed in all Boeing’s from the 727 - 787 and the most exciting events in my career are the first takeoff in the 727 and the 747. I think both airplanes were so beautiful and unique and will never be replaced with anything as cool.

furloughs, base closings, fleet groundings, lease returns, this time it will be deep, long, and everyone regardless of seniority will be effected.

Never say never. Limiting capacity will not protect passengers from viruses but but assuring that the airplane is as clean as reasonably possible and sick passengers aren’t allowed to board will help. Nothing can completely eliminate the risk.
