At Gilbert, Sorry I did not include the part about noticing the other engine did not have the thrust reverser deployed. I.e. was it just a luck to get one side deployed and the other not or is there some reason, such as needing to turn a bit? That is more why I ask. I.e. wonder if your answer is similar in that only one engine needed to slow down and save the brakes. Thanks and again, sorry for the mis-understanding.

Also, just noticed a flight by the P-51 on Dec. 6. I had the joy of watching it flying in circles above my house with, I think, a F-16 trying to keep up.... :-) Unfortunately, no photos turned out any good. Been wondering where it came from / went to; thanks for posting.

On that Vought F4U, please check me, but it does somewhat look like 20mm gun ports vs. .50 cal in the right wing. If correct, this should limit the possible versions it could be.

Wonder, when these get retired, can / how difficult would it be to repurpose them to fire fighting / air drops? Other uses?

I rather be flying my Caravan... vs. driving it. { Please note, I do own one of these :-)}
