The white box in the rear cockpit of acft 429 is what we call a "doghouse" It looks like one hence the name. It is strapped in and is used for luggage, acft forms etc.

I worked of these F-5's back at Willie in 74. Along with the T-38's and T-37's. They were a lot of work then can only imagine now....

The Tail number is 65-0429. The paint job on numbering is to distinguish this acft as the Beale Commanders jet. Henceforth the "9" in 429 is stood out for 9RW. Before this jet was done this way we had 64-3271 with the "71" highlighted for the SR-71. When that jet retired it was switched to this T-38.
