So, I can bring on a cage full of cockroaches and say I need them for my anxiety, but a person with a proven medical condition can't fly without a mask. How pathetic this whole fraud has become.
For goodness sake...case counts are irrelevant. Case counts will continue to go up with the increases in testing. Even if more people are 'getting it', the only thing that matters is hospital capacity and deaths. If a million people test positive, but are just 'sick' and not needing professional care, that is a good thing, not a bad one.
You do realize that the ONLY countries that follow the "war crime" rules are NATO, right? The Geneva Convention does nothing for the 'wars' of today other than cripple NATO from waging war without millions of arm chair quarterbacks chiming in.
I think another factor that isn't addressed is the current and pending pilot shortage. It doesn't do any good to have 6 flights scheduled if you can only hire enough crew to run 5, so that means you need to move to bigger planes and less frequency. The number of flight hours for a pilot doesn't go up just because there are more flights scheduled.
