OMG, that is hysterical unless you are a stockholder and just realized your CEO was going to throw millions out the window on a loser lawsuit. Stuff happens, move on and get back to making money, Ed. I'm wondering if Big Ed graduated from the University of Fingerpointing in DC, just curious.
Glad to see that most of you are smarter than the bean counters at United who came up with those newer slimmer seat, which are good for about 20 minutes. After that let me out. Like most of you I guess I will continue to avoid United too.
Amen to all the backers of the A-10. I have been raising hell with my Congressman for at least a year to keep this bird in the air. They finally honed it down to do what it was designed to do after many modifications. I was livid when I heard they were retiring this plane. It ain't pretty but it's a butt kicker from the word go. Thanks to the genius for saving the a/c that answers the call when called upon. I guess someone finally realized that the F-22 and F-35 are not designed for close in support.
Since they are not happy with the airport then Mayor Keith Curry should just close the airport. Then the "movers and shakers" and move and shake all the way to LAX.
You are absolutely right on. My first job in 1959 was personal assistant to William "Pat" Patterson at United when it was a real airline before becoming an aerial bus company. They should have kept the Continental name.
I guess I've just been around to long, I still believe any landing eveyone walks away from is a good landing. Did the Captain or his co-pilot do right? It's not for us to speculate, it's up to the NTSB
