Don’t need data - any passenger on any flight will tell you more toilets are needed - and more space.
Sometimes I wonder if the designers fly in their toys!

The monitoring of toilets on Airbus is not new! On the 320 the flight attendant crew have a touch panel display which is used to control lights, temperature ect. One setting allows the level of Potable water and “blue” water to be viewed in what appeared to be real time. Quite often I have been on flights with work colleagues and when the panel is left in this state a gambling would break out guessing how much “blue” water would be produced by the next visitor to the head 😊

And today AP report that 2 American Muslim men, Abderraoof Alkhawaldeh and Issam Abdallah, have filed a complaint with the US Dept of Tnspt against American Airlines ....

Flying from Birmingham, Alabama > Dallas FW, - crew members "felt uncomfortable" flying with them ... why? Because a flight attendant noticed Mr Addallah (an absolute top level frequent flyer with AA) had flushed the toilet twice... they were interviewed by the FBI and TSA, then allowed onto a later flight.

So - profiling, no question, but I wonder - - just how did a flight attendant "notice" that he'd flushed twice? .......

Flushing TWICE ......Crime of the Century now ....!!!!

Monitoring this is has just crossed the line ......

ok.....but why do they need it?

what are they tracking? solid vrs liquid content? density? Maybe this is a clue to the center of gravity problems with the last rows of 320neos?

Seems daft not using the last row whatever due to COG problems, they should either set them aside for parents with small kids or sell them was extra space / lay flatter seating.

What do the sensors record when 2 "use" the dunnie at the same time ...... red light on the cockpit panel?
What are they trying to flush out...?
