Congratulations to the Pilot and Crew
GermanVirgins
have they determined why the engines shut off?

not a pilot or ever been one but when both engines cut off at the same time sure seems like a crew error.

I would disagree to that, but who knows.

Sounds like the engines weren't getting fuel. I'd put money on it.

Any landing. There may have been a computer glitch that cut fuel feed to both engines but that seems like long odds considering the backups.

ya..i have heard that the engines automatically went in reverse thrust because there was a altitude malufunction with the onboard computer...but was just wondering if there was anything official yet.

With twin controlled FADEC's per engine, Id bet on XtCamZ comment. And by the way, the revesers cant deploy in flight due to the flight idle gate. That has nothing to due with the FADEC's ( or computer ) GermanVirgins

Of course the engines weren't getting fuel... that's the only way to stop a jet engine!
