Boeing To Increase 737 Output To 34/Month In 2012

...article on Embraer in the May 10, 2010 issue of Aviation Week noting that Embraer is the only new passenger jet maker to enter the market after Airbus in 1970, and thrive, and speculating that they may eventually go head-to-head against the 737.
I still think that the 737 will continue to hold most of the market share over Airbus and Embraer. Boeing has provided the same product since the 1960's and it remains the backbone of many airlines. The problem with Airbus is that thier planes are designed around the computer and not the pilot. Airbus does not trust the pilot. Boeing continues to produce planes that incorperates technology and the pilots. So as the saying says, if it ain't boeing, I ain't going.
