Whole lot more than those 50, even flying 135.LOL. The only difference is that you can sit and laugh about later with those in the back end that never knew a thing.LOL
You know it makes me wonder.... With all the complaining the pilots & FA's do... Why did they go into that field of employment? I realize after many years of doing a job you get tired of the same old thing.... But what happened to considering that prior to taking the job???? "Life's a bitch & then you die" Are you finally realizing it's not the prima donna job after all? Come back down to earth... There are worst jobs out there.
Is this regional carriers or mainline airlines? There is a difference. It's interesting also that whatever airlines they are put pilots in crappy hotels where they can't get sleep and give them little time to do it also. Seems like a very tiring job.
Its not true that all airlines put there crews in crapy hotels I know where the KLM crew stays in Montreal and its a very nice 4 star hotel in downtown Montreal.
They are brain dead from no sleep due to short overnights and crappy hotels. Probably have lost most of their hearing from all the 'clutter' over the radio's ...which makes the 1st day off at home hellish!!!
I love it when the FA's talk among themselves when they see a passenger wrestle with carry-ons. First FA: "If he thinks he's getting that 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom fold-over condominium on wheels into that overhead..." Second FA: "Well, it's your turn to break the bad news and schlep it to the tarmac..."
