Rhode Island Man Pleads Guilty Lasering Flight On Approach To Green Airport
Joseph Aquino, 31, Warwick, Rhode Island, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Providence on Friday to a federal charge of willfully interfering with the safe operation of an airborne commercial aircraft and endangering the safety of the 23 passengers and three crew members onboard. Aquino illuminated the cockpit of an incoming flight on final approach to T.F. Green Airport in Warwick with a laser (avstop.com) さらに...I got lased by this guy flying over the area too - thanks to the CG auxiliary, they caught this guy!
not very funny in my book Abdullah!!
If they don't throw the book at this guy then it will be just like giving others a free pass to continue this absolutely outrageous and dangerous activity!! Jail time and the maximum fine please!
I agree with Zachary. I hope he gets the max possible punishment.
I could not agree more with the need for a maximum sentence on this. Make an example of this person or people will not take the law seriously. Although it may seem like tasteless self-promotion, feel free to read an article I put together about this problem. Just trying to share some information on this serious safety concern.
