That was the era and furnishings at the time. Nowadays (At least in the Oceania area) you pay a lot to buy the same style furniture new or refurbished. May have to add a visit to the museum one day.
A the Nazi political organisation/party(Just like any other country political party including the US) was not under war nor had entered any ethnic cleansing at that stage. The US already had already ethnically cleansed American Indians and had black slavery. The Hindenburg was not a war machine nor was never intended as one, simply a passenger carrier and intensions of carrying cargo.
Sadly you obviously know nothing of design of the time; Bauhaus Style and Le Corbusier or for that matter how to use Google.........
Design is rarely new it is like fashion that keeps being re-invented year over decade. Google your disbelief at what you see; rather than challenge others here to your ignorance.
Yes, it DID crash in May, 1937, you are correct. That's why in my first post,I said nineteen thirty SIX would have been a great year to fly on it. 1937, not so much... :-)
Looks like you are wrong due to they are rebuilt ones from the manufacture. Why would they have been made from wood? They had metal back then to work with so think that you are wrong.
