ACLU Drops Suit After TSA Changes Preflight Security Screening Policies
The American Civil Liberties Union has dropped a lawsuit against the Transportation Security Administration after the TSA revised its policies pertaining to the conduct of its agents concerning pre-flight security screenings. The ACLU filed the lawsuit against the TSA in June on behalf of Steven Bierfeldt, the Director of Development for the Campaign for Liberty, a political organization that grew out of Rep. The TSA is a joke. I don't feel safer after I have to dump my bottle of water in the garbage before I go through the security checkpoint. We should take a lesson from countries like England and Israel who have real airport security. We need law enforcement officers with guns protecting our airports, not lackies with wands.
