As Boeing inches towards the first flight of the Boeing 777X later this month, more leaks and sneak previews are making their way to the media. Never, the 777 is fly-by wire and has a stickpusher system.
Just saying it might get toooooooo long. 777-9 looks beautiful, but the 10 start to look like a Dash-8...
All they'd need are a few wheels on the tail to avoid tailstrike damage.
Oh sorry, I misread the question. Of course the 737 mcas does not prevent tailstrikes. The best way to avoid tailstrikes is not exceed the recommended rotation rate. But sometimes a tailstrike is the best option, think about a windshear or blocked runway. So you wouldn’t want a system to prevent you from doing that.
And Airbus planes won't allow a pilot to do that.
