How about an additional fare increase to cover bag fees? Watching people bring all their personal belongings as carry-on has become silly. Hearing boarding passengers gripe "well my bag fit in the overhead on the last flight". They are now cognizant enough to know the difference between the overhead bins between a 767 and CRJ200 are indeed different.

Enough of my discourse from seat 3C.
